The role
A high-ownership junior role supporting recruiting coordination, event planning, and outreach. You won't be micromanaged. You'll own your lanes and figure things out.
Recruiting(40%)
- Source and screen candidates for training and consulting roles from partner channels
- Manage job postings, inbound applications, scheduling, and follow-up
- Draft LinkedIn outreach to passive candidates
Event Planning(35%)
- Coordinate quarterly TorontoAI events: venue, speakers, Luma setup, attendee comms
- Reach out to panelists (senior tech leaders) and demo-day presenters (founders, engineers)
- Keep the event calendar 3+ months ahead
Outreach Support(25%)
- Build prospect lists for B2B training sales (Databricks, AI, DevOps buyers)
- Support LinkedIn outreach sequences and webinar logistics
- Maintain a simple lead tracker
What we're looking for
- Obsessively organized — systems and follow-through are the job
- Strong written English; you'll represent the brand in outreach
- Comfortable sourcing and messaging on LinkedIn
- Self-starter who doesn't need hand-holding
- Toronto-compatible hours (EST)
Prior experience in recruiting, events, or sales ops — a plus, not required. No technical background needed.
