# AML Practice Lab for Microsoft 365 Copilot

Learners at financial firms practise Microsoft 365 Copilot on realistic anti-money-laundering case files in Excel and Word. No code, no setup.

- Level: Beginner
- Duration: Set per cohort
- Cost: Fixed price
- Technologies: Microsoft 365 Copilot, Excel, Word, OneDrive, SharePoint, AML

## What is included

- Ordinary files, no code. Learners get a folder of Excel and Word files to upload to OneDrive or SharePoint, so staff practise Copilot on files they already know how to use.
- Realistic case files. Each case is an Excel workbook with Summary, KYC, Transactions and Alerts tabs, plus a Word case file. The data comes from a made-up credit union and covers all 8 IBM laundering patterns, disguised payments, sanctions name matches and harmless look-alikes. Every workbook holds a real Excel table, because Copilot in Excel needs one.
- 13 plain-English exercises. Learners ask Copilot to summarize a case, list red flags, find the policy section on cash deposits, draft a suspicious transaction report narrative and find large transfers to new payees.
- Catch the AI's mistake. Each of the four parts (policies, regulations, cases, data) ends with an AI-written draft that has planted errors. Learners check it against the files and find the mistakes, such as Canada's "$10,000 or more" against the US "more than $10,000".
- Ready for the instructor. The learner folder and the instructor folder are separate zips. The instructor zip holds the exercise guide with expected answers and a case-by-case answer key. Choose Canada or the US, and the policies, rules and exercises match.

## Prerequisites
